We are anticipating a NADA Regatta Head Race Event Labor Day Weekend, tentatively 730 AM Race Start from WBYC, specifics to follow.

Next head race on Caz Lake 730 AM Saturday Race Start Time at WBYC, July 23rd. Sunny 70 degrees 3 knots out of SW is currently forecast. Let me know if you think you are participating; though all boats ready at the water at racetime are encouraged to race!

Last week we pulled together an impromptu scrimmage Sunday morning July 17, and had a mens 2x, womens pair and a two coxed women's four.  Was great fun.  The women's pair set a lake record time to beat for Caz Lake. (see below on web page!)

We are continue to enjoy the new video capability,and for anyone interested am attaching the link to the men's 2X as seen from the stern; it will certainly be a helpful tool to see timing, bladework, etc, and to see what breaks down, when, during an event...Also attached is a link to video from the bow, as we worked speciifically on timing of the catch.

Saturday July 9th 730 Race start time

Conditions are forecast to be pristine (Sunny, winds 3 knots out of the West) for Saturday July 9 730 am start time.  Please proceed to WBYC and be at the starting line on time, and please post a comment if you have interest in participating.  There is a sailing event later, at WBYC but I can't imagine that will interfere with our head race event.
